Velocity 3.9 introduces Holiday Groups, making region-specific holiday schedules easier to manage across multiple sites and controllers. 3.9 adds TLS 1.3 and FIPS 140-3 support for faster, more secure communications, requiring SNIB3 v04.05.2120. Performance is improved with multi-threaded communications for better scalability, faster event processing, an updated help system with context-based support, and an enhanced License Manager showing counts, expiration dates, and warnings, along with other general performance and bug fixes.
